UPI Payments — SEBI-validated UPI ID
Last updated 21 September 2026 · Version 2026-09
Dear Investors,
We have obtained a SEBI-validated UPI ID handle for secure payment collection, as mandated by SEBI. For any UPI payment, please pay only to the validated UPI ID below.

Payee name should appear as Sugam Kashyap. Look for the white thumbs-up in a green triangle on the QR code and on your app's confirmation screen.

Is it compulsory for investors to use the new handle only?
Investors can choose their preferred mode of payment — UPI, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS or cheque. If an investor chooses UPI to pay a registered intermediary, the payment must be made only to the new validated UPI ID allotted to that intermediary.
What should I check while paying with the new UPI ID or QR code?
- To the left of the “@”, the UPI ID shows the intermediary's name followed by a short abbreviation of its category (for example “ra” for Research Analysts, “brk” for brokers, “mf” for mutual funds).
- To the right of the “@”, the exclusive handle “@valid” appears, followed by the bank name.
- On the confirmation screen, your app shows a white thumbs-up icon inside a green triangle.
- The QR code generated through the utility carries the same white thumbs-up in a green triangle and shows the UPI ID just below it.
Do investors also need new UPI handles?
No. The new UPI IDs are only for intermediaries. Investors continue to use their existing UPI IDs.
Whom do I approach if a payment to the new UPI ID fails?
The validated UPI ID uses the same banking channel as earlier UPI handles. For technical difficulties, please contact your own bank.
